Premium-quality, professionally graded graphite pencils create rich, velvety smooth laydown in a range of textures from very hard (light) to extremely soft (dark). Woodless graphite pencils are extremely versatile when used on their side for broad strokes or sharpened to a point for detail. Water-soluble graphite pencils provide rich, dark marks that can be diluted with water to create a transparent wash.
